A Thousand Years

Weddings are my favorite life celebrations- love, family and food. Oh plus cake and flowers. Today, I must add balloons! This modern take of incorporating giant balloons is a growing trend with brides.

Meet Candice and Graham. They planned a surprise wedding staged as an engagement party for their family. Back in March when Candice was planning, we thought putting a surprise message on the balloons for the guests to see and read while walking to the restaurant. How thrilling!

Here it is – soft pearl pink, gold and 2 clear balloons with “Surprise! Candice and Graham are getting married…. Tonight!”  Clear balloons had pink, gold, ivory and blush confetti combination. Added touch is a string of fairy lights to glow into the night.

I got to the Bow Valley Ranche and was amazed how romantic it is. The room had the feels, the gold sequin table cloth and rose gold made the tables glorious. Candles, baby’s breath and flowers so beautifully put together graced the tables. I mean, look at her bouquet!

Congratulations Candice and Graham! It was the perfect day to have an intimate elopement. Calgary weather was bright and sunny after a weeklong of rain. It’s meant to be, like it would last a thousand years of bliss.
